LIFT Update from Treasure Island & Gulfport

We're thrilled to share the incredible successes of the Life Intervention Focus Team (LIFT) in our community. Thanks to your support and the dedicated efforts of our team, we've achieved some remarkable milestones:

1. Dedicated Case Manager: We've added a full-time Case Manager who engages with our homeless population daily, offering personalized support and connecting individuals with the resources they need for both short-term and long-term assistance.

2. Building Partnerships: Through partnerships with local community and county organizations, we've established a robust network of support for addressing substance abuse and mental health issues. Additionally, we've secured temporary housing options to kickstart the journey towards self-sufficiency.

3. Promoting Dialogue: We've fostered open communication through citizen town halls and engagements with local organizations. These conversations are crucial for finding real solutions to homelessness, rather than just pushing the issue aside.

And the results speak for themselves:

100% Engagement: Our Case Manager has reached out to 100% of the homeless citizens in our community, ensuring no one is left behind.

300% Reduction in Incidents: We're proud to report a significant decrease in incidents involving the homeless in our area, reflecting the positive impact of our interventions.

Increased Access to Treatment: More homeless individuals are seeking treatment at our partner organizations, including Directions for Living, Safe Harbor, Windmoor, and Turning Point.
